Backup Internet for Card Machines, $349 | Repair Forge IT

Cellular, 5G or Starlink backup internet for card machines, POS and phones, set up and tested. $349 flat labour, hardware in your name. On-site in Houston.

When the internet drops, your card machines and phones keep working. We set up cellular, 5G or Starlink backup internet that takes over by itself, then test it by pulling the plug.

Price

$349, one-time. One flat labour price for one location. You buy the backup hardware direct from our spec, and the cellular or Starlink plan is in your business’s name and billed to you, so there is no markup and no monthly license from us. On-site in Houston; elsewhere in Texas by arrangement, with any travel quoted before you book.

What's included

A spec for the backup router and plan that suit your location
Backup internet that takes over by itself when the main line drops
Card machines, POS and phones put first on the backup line
A pull-the-plug test before we leave
A one-page note of what we set up and what to expect when it switches over
Hardware and carrier plan in your name, bought direct

How it works

Tell us what has to stay up. Which card machines, POS and phones you run, and who provides your internet. We send the spec for the hardware and plan to buy.
We set it up on-site. We install the backup, put card machines and phones first in line, and connect it to your network. Usually one visit.
We pull the plug. We cut the main line, check that cards and calls still go through, and leave you the one-page note.

About the scope

This covers one location and one main internet line. The hardware and the carrier plan stay yours. If the office network needs rework before a backup line can do its job, we tell you and quote that first.
