We usually start by auditing what you already run: servers, switches, backups, whatever is in the closet. From that we write a plan for what needs to change. It might mean moving several aging servers onto one properly configured machine that runs them as virtual servers, splitting a flat office network so one infected laptop can’t reach everything, or simply putting monitoring and working backups in place so the next outage is an inconvenience. Without them, it can be a catastrophe. If files are already lost, we restore deleted files and recover from backups ourselves, and a failed or damaged drive goes to a specialist data recovery lab. Everything we set up is vendor-neutral and yours: admin accounts are in your company’s name with admin access handed to you, licenses are billed to you directly, hardware warranties and support contracts are registered to you, and every project ends with a password vault and written documentation handed over. We keep a client’s production platform up at 200K+ API requests a month. Its monitoring runs on a dead man’s switch, on separate hardware from the system it watches. We built it that way after an outage there went unnoticed for hours: when a whole system fails, alerting that runs on the same system usually fails with it.
